Studio Time is a casual self directed and self paced opportunity to create among a group of other clay-lovers. There is a large work space, four pottery wheels, a slab roller, equipment and tools.
Several types of clay are available for purchase at $12/kilo (including two firings and glazing). Just bring along your creativity and an apron if you plan on getting muddy!
This session is not a structured class; however, an experienced potter is always available to assist and answer questions. Studio Time is best suited to those with some prior experience working with clay. Beginners are welcome, but it is recommended that you arrive with a basic idea of what you would like to make and some familiarity with the process (e.g. having watched an introductory video/reels). Please feel free to email us if you have any concerns or questions prior to signing up.
*Please note* If you want to glaze your pottery, you will need to return for a second session following the initial bisque fire to complete your work (allow at least two weeks).
