By continuing with ticket purchase, you acknowledge you have read and understood all relevant Terms and Conditions.
1. Overview
1.1 Docker Fokker is a privately organised supporter charter flight between Perth and Melbourne.
1.2 The charter is not organised, endorsed, sponsored or operated by the Fremantle Football Club, the AFL, or any related entity.
1.3 The booking is for return charter air travel only unless otherwise stated.
1.4 By purchasing a ticket, all passengers acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking Inclusions
2.1 The booking includes:
- Return charter flights between Perth and Melbourne.
- Up to 10kg luggage allowance per passenger.
- Travel on the charter aircraft arranged by the organisers.
2.2 The booking does not include:
x AFL Grand Final tickets.
x Accommodation.
x Local transport.
x Travel insurance.
x Meals or beverages.
x Any other costs not expressly included.
3. Conditions Required For The Charter To Proceed
3.1 The charter flight will only proceed if all of the following conditions are met:
a) All 90 passenger seats are sold;
b) The aircraft remains available and can be secured by the organisers;
c) Fremantle qualifies for the AFL Grand Final; and
d) Any operational, regulatory or safety requirements can be satisfied.
3. Guarantees
3.1 The organisers do not guarantee that any flight will depart, arrive, or operate in accordance with the advertised schedule.
3.2 The organisers are not liable for delays, cancellations or changes resulting from decisions made by the aircraft operator.
3.3 Passengers acknowledge the charter remains conditional until all requirements have been satisfied.
4. Deposits
4.1 A deposit of $550 per passenger is required at the time of booking.
4.2 The deposit reserves a passenger's place on the charter subject to these Terms & Conditions.
4.3 Collection of passenger deposits does not constitute confirmation that the charter flight will proceed.
4.4 The organisers reserve the right to delay payment of the aircraft deposit until all 90 seats have been sold.
5. Final Payment
5.1 If Fremantle qualifies for the AFL Grand Final and the charter is proceeding, passengers will be notified that final payment is due.
5.2 The remaining balance of $1,650 per passenger must be paid within 24 hours of notification.
5.3 Failure to pay the balance within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking.
5.4 The organisers may resell any cancelled seat at their discretion.
5.5 Once final payment has been received, refunds are not guaranteed and will be considered solely at the organisers' discretion
6. Refunds
6.1 Aircraft Not Secured: If the aircraft is not secured and the charter does not proceed, deposits will be refunded less applicable booking and transaction fees.
6.2 Aircraft Secured But Fremantle Does Not Qualify: If the aircraft deposit has been paid and Fremantle does not qualify for the AFL Grand Final, deposits will be refunded less $100 administration fee per passenger and applicable booking and transaction fees.
6.3 Passenger Cancellation Before Preliminary Final Result: If a passenger voluntarily cancels their booking before the result of Fremantle's Preliminary Final is known, deposits will be refunded less $220 cancellation fee per passenger and applicable booking and transaction fees.
6.4 Failure To Pay Balance: If a passenger fails to pay the remaining balance within the required payment period, the entire deposit and applicable booking and transaction fees is forfeited.
6.5 Flight Cancellation After Confirmation: If the flight is cancelled or unable to operate after confirmation due to weather, aircraft availability, operational requirements, airport restrictions, regulatory requirements or any other circumstance outside the reasonable control of the organisers, the organisers may:
- seek to reschedule the flight;
- seek an alternative aircraft; or
- cancel the charter entirely.
If the charter is cancelled, the organisers' liability is limited to refunding any unused portion of monies received after deduction of non-recoverable costs incurred by the organisers and the aircraft operator. The organisers are under no obligation to arrange alternative commercial flights, accommodation, transport or other travel arrangements for passengers.
7. Passenger Details
7.1 Passengers must provide accurate information when booking.
7.2 The organisers may request further information before departure.
7.3 Incorrect passenger information may result in cancellation of the booking.
8. Changes And Transfers
8.1 Passenger substitutions may be permitted at the organisers' discretion.
8.2 Any approved transfer must be completed before any deadline advised by the organisers.
8.3 The organisers reserve the right to refuse transfer requests.
9. Flight Schedule And Operations
9.1 Scheduled departure and arrival times are indicative only.
9.2 Departure times may change due to operational, regulatory, weather or aircraft requirements.
9.3 The organisers are not liable for costs incurred as a result of schedule changes.
10. Limitation Of Responsibility
10.1 The organisers act only as coordinators of the supporter charter.
10.2 The organisers are not responsible for:
- AFL Grand Final ticket availability;
- accommodation arrangements;
- local transport arrangements;
- passenger travel insurance;
- personal expenses;
- consequential losses arising from cancellation of the charter.
10.3 Passengers are responsible for making their own assessment regarding any accommodation, event ticket or travel bookings.
11. Force Majeure
11.1 The organisers shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or change resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
- weather;
- air traffic restrictions;
- airport closures;
- aircraft unavailability;
- regulatory requirements;
- industrial action;
- public health events; or
- other unforeseen events.
11.2 The organisers are not liable for any consequential, indirect or associated costs incurred by passengers, including accommodation, event tickets, transport, meals, lost income or other travel expenses.
11.3 The organisers are not responsible for arranging, funding or reimbursing alternative flights, accommodation, event tickets or travel arrangements if the charter is cancelled, delayed or unable to operate for any reason.
Aircraft Carrier Specific Terms & Conditions
The following conditions apply to all passengers travelling on the Docker Fokker charter flight.
12. Passenger Identification
12.1 Passengers may be required to present government-issued photographic identification when checking in or boarding the aircraft.
12.2 The name on the booking should match the passenger's identification.
13. Check-In Requirements
13.1 Passengers must arrive and complete check-in by the time advised by the organisers.
13.2 Passengers who fail to check in by the required time may be denied boarding and may forfeit their booking.
14. Passenger Conduct
14.1 Passengers must comply with all lawful directions issued by the aircraft operator, flight crew, airport staff, security personnel or their authorised representatives.
14.2 The aircraft operator may refuse carriage, deny boarding or remove a passenger where required for safety, security or operational reasons.
15. Alcohol, Drugs and Behaviour
15.1 Passengers must not board or attempt to board while affected by alcohol, drugs or any substance that may impact safety.
15.2 Passengers whose behaviour is considered disruptive, unsafe or inappropriate may be refused carriage without refund.
16. Baggage
16.1 Each passenger is entitled to a maximum baggage allowance of 10kg unless otherwise advised.
16.2 The aircraft operator may impose additional baggage restrictions due to aircraft payload, weather, safety or operational requirements.
16.3 Where necessary, baggage may be delayed, restricted or refused carriage.
16.4 Passengers remain responsible for all personal belongings.
17. Dangerous Goods
17.1 Passsngers must not bring any prohibited, dangerous or restricted items onto the aircraft.
17.2 All passengers are responsible for ensuring any baggage complies with applicable aviation safety requirements.
18. Aircraft and Schedule Changes
18.1 The aircraft operator may substitute aircraft, alter schedules, change departure times, alter routings or make other operational changes where necessary.
18.2 Passengers acknowledge that advertised schedules are indicative only.
19. Delays, Diversions and Cancellations
19.1 The aircraft operator may delay, divert, cancel or alter the flight due to weather, operational requirements, mechanical issues, air traffic restrictions, airport closures, regulatory requirements, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
19.2 The organisers are not responsible for any resulting accommodation, transport, event ticket, employment, personal or other consequential costs.
20. Flight Cancellation After Check-In or Boarding
20.1 If the charter flight is unable to depart after passengers have checked in or boarded, the organisers may seek to:
delay the flight;
reschedule the flight;
secure an alternative aircraft; or
cancel the charter.
20.2 The organisers are not obliged to provide or arrange alternative commercial flights, accommodation, transport or event access.
20.3 Any refund payable will be limited to monies recoverable after deduction of non-recoverable costs incurred by the organisers, the aircraft operator and associated service providers.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia and any dispute relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
