About
Every Thursday night, A-list national & international stars share the stage with Queensland’s hottest emerging comics inside a spectacular world-class cabaret theatre.
Gold Coast Comedy Club Showcase delivers a stacked bill of exceptional talent, premium production & the electric atmosphere of an intimate comedy room where every seat is close to the action. No 2 shows are the same, with a fresh lineup bringing razor-sharp stand-up, fearless new material & some of the biggest laughs on the GC.
Leading the laughs each week is award-winning comedy writer & Gold Coast radio favourite Sean “Flan” Flanagan. After 13 years on 102.9 Hot Tomato—including the GC’s #1 breakfast show, Flan & Emily Jade—Flan brings his quick wit, spontaneity & warm comedy to the stage as the weekly MC.
Presented inside Matt Hollywood’s iconic Illusions Magic Theatre, the show combines powerhouse comedy with premium lighting, sound & production in an extraordinary multi-level venue. Whether you’re a GC local or visiting Surfers Paradise, make Gold Coast Comedy Club your Thursday night destination!
