About

The training day is for all licensed lay readers in the Diocese and designed to address two areas. The first is to develop the talents and abilities of the individual undertaking lay ministry. The other is for the spiritual development of the person who is serving as a lay reader. By emphasizing both of these areas, the training day seeks to strengthen effective lay ministry in a parish context. Please bring bible, prayer book, notebook and lunch.
