It's the hottest day of the summer. There hasn't been a job in this stinking town that didn't involve putting the whip on someone's back for years. DRIVERS WANTED. DANGEROUS WORK. HIGH PAY. Now the only way out is to drive a truck loaded with nitro glycerine over a pot holed and rutted bush track. A new adaptation of Geroge Arnaud's 1950 novel of suspense and fear "Le salaire de la peur".
