6-8pm Wednesday 3 May 2017
Panel discussion with Alex Kelly, Megan Cope and Amy Spiers

From different forms of agitation - disruption, confrontation and subversion - to dialogical, cartographical and representative forms of storytelling, to the creation of new imaginaries with which to move into the
future, artists use a vast toolbox of tactics to incite social and political change.

In this panel discussion, Central Australian filmmaker Alex Kelly, Quandamooka woman and artist Megan Cope, and Melbourne-based artist and researcher Amy Spiers discuss their work, their influences and their ideas around issues of environmental and social justice. Forms of Resistance is presented as part of A Centre for Everything's symposium on the intersection between art and activism, ART / POLITICS / ACTION.
