Border Collie Owners South Australia present the Border Collie World Record Attempt & Fun Day. The current record is 503 Border Collies, set at Katrina Warren's Border Collie Fun Day in 2013. Bring your Border Collies along for a photo followed by a fun day, and help us in our attempt! Border Collie cross-breeds are allowed however we do ask that they look like Border Collies.
- Gates open for the record at 10am Sunday 24 September 2017. General Public permitted with their dogs (any breed) from 12pm onwards for a gold coin donation at the gate. All proceeds will be split equally between Guardian Angel Animal Rescue, SA Dog Rescue and Scruffer Lovers.
- You may bring as many dogs as you like - the maximum cost to you is $20 so we have set the booking limit to 4 dogs for payment, however there will be a field on the following page to input the correct number of dogs you will actually be bringing on the day. Please ensure that you read the information while booking properly, as the ticket type is marked 'dog entry' and needs to only be bought for your dog(s) in the record, not the humans attending.
With 25 stallholders, demonstrations throughout the day, 2 coffee vendors, a fruit smoothie vendor and a sausage sizzle run by the Border Collie Owners South Australia group, there's no better place in the world to be on September 24th! -
