Unspoken Rule is an 8 piece jazz band featuring Jennifer Salisbury (vox) and James Mustafa
(trumpet & arrangements). The work is called “Unspoken Rule”, after the first composition.
An alternate name is “Upper Downer” because it is a swingin’ reflection of the ups and downs of romantic love. Intrigue becomes romance, romance becomes love, love becomes heartbreak, heartbreak becomes hope and hope embraces the new.
