Twelve Angry Jurors is a timeless piece of writing that speaks to the current era of opinion and identity politics. The drama of the play is driven by the power that rests in facts and logic, rather than emotional manipulation.  Sixty years after it was originally staged, it's haunting in its retained relevance. The debate it captures is timeless, and the nameless characters it portrays are people you're likely know or identify with. It represents justice as a rigorous system that works against bigotry and assumption, a message that society, often found arguing political extremes, needs now more than ever.
