This is where it happened

A live public art performance that ignites imagination and transforms our sense of place.

'This is where it happened' is a performance event reflecting on Lilydale's local dance history; the people, the places and memories.

Weaving local narrative through the voices of elders in the local community; Senior Citezens, Local historians and Aboiriginal elders, with contemporary dance-theatre.

Created by director and choreographer Gülsen Özer with collaborators Rod Price (sound design), Vanessa White (video) and dancers, Sara De Signa, Claudia-Lynn Rightmire & Josh Twee.
