A con man and two ex-cons have traced the location of a doll, containing a substance of great value, to the apartment of Sam and his blind wife, Susy. Sam had been persuaded by a woman to transport the doll to London from Amsterdam. After the woman turns up murdered, the con man and his ex-convicts convince Susy that the police have implicated Sam in the woman’s murder, and the doll, which she believes is the key to his innocence, is evidence. But just how far will Susy fall into their trap?
