Public lecture by Evelyn Welch, Professor of Renaissance Studies and Provost (Arts & Sciences) at King’s College London. In this lecture, she will explore across the many various ways emotion was understood on the body’s surface and how this was represented both materially and visually in Early Modern Europe.
