Well tonight’s the night Sandra Dee! HAVE YOU NEVER BEEN OLIVIA? is a queer costume-cum-cabaret-cum-dance party, in which we encourage one and all to go the full Newton-John: to hopelessly devote yourselves, to xanadu-it, to get physical and koala blue (google it) all over the place (i.e. Theatre Royal)! Come dressed in ONJ drag – as your favourite iteration of ONJ – or in your own ONJ inspired creation (think camp, think OTT, think a place nobody dared to go). Be a party to shameless ‘acts of Olivia’ on the night – by local and Melbourne based queer and queer allied performers. And join us on the dance floor for some ‘body talk’ where we’ll become a many headed Olivia, where we’ll exhaust ONJ’s back catalogue, where we’ll – musically speaking – go six degrees of Olivia if we have to. ONJ all the way, but you try busting a move to I Honestly Love You... Oh you did? Oh you can? Well then bring it, sister!
