Jasmin Leung
Jasmin Wing-Yin Leung is a composer, improviser and erhu-player. She works within concert and installation settings, investigating methods for meaningful shared experiences and the possibilities inside intimate sonic spaces.

Monique Clare
Dancing between intricate, rhythmic cello lines, compelling lyrics and heart-tugging harmonies, Monique Clare is a powerhouse in the contemporary folk scene. She draws on tradition while boldly marching towards the forefront of innovation. Onstage she’s described as “pure joy” to watch; offstage she’s hosted mountaintop sunrise concerts, taught cello in Afghanistan and travelled the world to dive deeply into folklore treasure troves.

Sprout
Helen Svoboda (double bass) is joined by Sophie Min (piano) and Simon Svoboda (cello) for her newest project, ‘Sprout’. The trio was formed in mid-2017 to explore a new direction of composition, influenced largely by minimalist music infused with moments of structured improvisation. The blend of the double bass and cello has opened up a world of fresh sonic possibilities, creating a rich blend of texture and counter-melodic interaction beneath the percussive nature of the piano. They will be joined by special guest Andrew Saragossi on the alto-clarinet.
