The ascta VIC Conference provides professional development for all aspects of coaching and the teaching of swimming.
Swimming coaches and teachers attending the conference will have a vast array of specialized topics from presenters that have experiences on a national level. The conference caters for all levels of coaching from the junior and part time coach through to the more serious and full time.

Vince Raleigh-is the Chandler High Performance Coach, he is a Platinum Level License Coach, having coached multiple swimmers to win medals at Olympic Games, World Swimming Championships, Pan Pacs and Commonwealth Games’
Shannon Rollason- Six-time Gold Medal Winning Coach currently the Head Coach of the ACT Performance Hub, providing a high performance-based program at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS). He was previously head coach at the AIS from 2006-2012, then moved to Denmark as the national head coach and then he was the Danish head coach for the 2016 Rio Olympics
Scott Talbot-Nunawading High Performance Coach, with over 17 years of swimming at national level he is a 2-time Olympian as a swimmer and has coached swimmers at the past to Olympics.
Joanne Love–Paralympic and Olympic coach, who has coached world record holders and Olympic medalists. Joanne is now spending her time helping both athletes and coaches to create a performance mindset and produce powerful positive outcomes in the swim school industry.

Whatever the level, there will be a great array of presenters and topics to cover every one’s interest, giving you access to a network of industry experts to help you further your profession and interest.

Ø Please note that the Performance Coaches Stream is by invite only
Victorian State Team Practical Session
As part of this year’s conference there will be a practical session held on Saturday with the State Team relating to relay changeovers and skills
Re-accreditation
ascta will allocate 5 ascta Professional Development hours per day
Certificates of attendance will be available following the final presentations of each of the days
