Thoracic Imaging Update
[THORACIC IMAGING UPDATE]
On behalf of the RANZCR WA Branch, we warmly invite you to join us at the annual weekend academic meeting to be held the 23 & 24 February 2019 at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, QEII.
This year’s meeting will provide an update on Thoracic Imaging, with talks covering respiratory and cardiothoracic conditions encountered by all radiologists. Emphasis will be placed on the responsibility of thoracic radiology in the clinical setting. Talks focussed on Lung Cancer Screening and Therapy are also scheduled, highlighting the role of radiology in this field and imaging results encountered with newer therapies.
We are delighted to have high profile international and local speakers joining us to share their expertise. In addition to Radiologists, speakers are from a wide range of medical disciplines including Radiation Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, Cardiothoracic Surgery and Respiratory Medicine.
Our keynote guest speaker is Prof Thomas Hartman, the Immediate Past President of the Society of Thoracic Radiology. He will provide talks on chronic infiltrative lung diseases, lung cancer screening and atypical mycobacterial infections.
I encourage you to join us for the RANZCR WA Branch Meeting to further your knowledge in thoracic imaging and its role in the clinical setting.
On behalf of the committee, I look forward to seeing you in February 2019!
