About
Please join us for a very special evening to hear Anne Summers AO in conversation with Julia Gillard AC discussing Anne's new book, Unfettered and Alive: A Memoir. Anne and Julia will be chatting on Friday October 26 at 630pm (doors open 6pm) at Scott Theatre, University of Adelaide.
Unfettered and Alive is the exhilarating memoir of Anne Summers' extraordinary career as a journalist, author, policy maker, political advisor, bureaucrat, board member, editor, publisher, and political activist. Anne shares revealing stories about the famous and powerful people she has worked with or reported on, and is refreshingly frank about her own anxieties and mistakes as well as her at times heart-breaking family story of violence and ultimate reconciliation. Unfettered and Alive is a provocative and inspiring memoir by a woman who broke through so many boundaries to show what women can do. This promises to be a fascinating discussion. Don't miss out!
Tickets are $15 or you can pre-purchase a Ticket + Signed Copy for just $40 (Unfettered and Alive is normally $40 on its own).
