Book Slam 2019 - CBCA Qld Notables event (SOLD OUT)

Hear about the best new Australian children’s literature when we unveil the Notables List 2019 at the CBCA (Qld branch) Book Slam. What is Book Slam, I hear you say? It’s short sharp book talks about our favourite books of the last year. Sometimes those talks rhyme, sometimes they may even be sung. Some are funny, some are sad. All are under 2 minutes.

Hear our guest Book Slammers share their favourites, then have a go yourself. Copies of the full Notables List will be on display for your perusing pleasure - and we’ll even give you free wine and cheese! Entry by donation but bookings required to help us for catering.

Check out the YouTube video of the Book Slam from 2016.
