A Performance for our Planet with Perth Symphony Orchestra

Western Australia’s achievements in helping the environment to save our planet will be celebrated in a spectacular concert by Perth Chamber Orchestra at Perth Town Hall on Wednesday 27^th March at 6.30pm.

Audiences will be surrounded by native plants, immersed in a multi-sensory feast of strings and soloists playing music to satisfy the soul as they inhale the evocative Eucalyptus scents of the Australian bush.

Leading experts from WA based organisations will give 5-minute presentations on the positive actions of how we are help the following four themes: “Thriving Oceans”; “Drought Mitigation”; “Renewable Energy”; and “Protecting Biodiversity”.

“These experts will share their ground-breaking work, give facts, figures, and insights into how Western Australia is leading the way in these areas,” said Bourby Webster, Founder and CEO, Perth Symphony Orchestra.

“Each conversation will be followed by inspiring pieces of music on the four themes performed by Perth Chamber Orchestra and soloists, conducted by Jessica Gethin.”

“Sounds recorded in the wild from the Western Australian bush will be a played in the background, transporting the audience into our natural native environment,” said Ms Webster.

“Film-footage of our natural planet will enhance the performance, totally immersing the audience in a feast for the senses!” Ms Webster concluded.
