This year the Northcote High School Writers' Talkfest hosts another incredible line up of Australian authors: novelist Toni Jordan, historian Judith Brett and crime fiction maestro Shane Maloney.
The theme is Writing Mystery, exploring the craft of literary curiosity.
How do these four authors use the spirit of enquiry to drive plot, build character and investigate the secrets of the past? Stella Prize-winning author, ABC broadcaster and NHS parent, Clare Wright will facilitate an evening of fascinating discussion on this topic, with book sales by Neighbourhood Books. Author signings, door prizes and more. All proceeds go to the Northcote High Thrive Fund – Innovate, which supports innovative projects by students and staff.
