About

In 1934 the "Uiver" DC-2 aeroplane was lost in a fierce storm late at night and rescued by the people of Albury. This year is the 85th Anniversary of that remarkable event, and coincides with the Centenary of the KLM airline.

Hosted by our wonderful Master of Ceremonies, John Walker, we bring together VIPs and the wonderful "Snoopy and the Taildraggers" jazz band to mark this special event.

A charity auction will be held to help with the fundraising for Albury's DC-2 restoration.
