Discover Shabbat anew with performance, storytelling and meditation by Israel Aloni, Elise Hearst, Mikhaela Bourke and Zoe Kanat. Join us as Israel responds to Mouvement Perpétuel’s 1001 Lights video installation, challenging the origin of ritual and inherent gender roles; Elise debuts her short play with Mikhaela where two women - a Pole and a Jew - wait for Shabbat to begin; and Zoe's meditation focuses on letting things be as they are, here and now.
