You are invited to spend time with the wonderful Dr Andrew Root (U.S.), one of the world’s leading youth ministry and practical theology scholars and an award-winning, prolific author and speaker.
These are Andy's only public events in Melbourne this year.
Presenting all over the world at churches and conferences, Andy is known for his engaging style that laces together stories, theological depth and humour.
Andrew Root, PhD, will be leading a seminar drawing on themes from his recent publications exploring our social context & it's implications for ministry with young people. Part of this day will include Andy in conversation with Fr Chris Ryan MGL PhD.
We're also pleased to announce a dinner event with Andy on Thursday 22nd August at Whitley College. This event will include a 2-course dinner, and is limited to 30 people. The theme will Young People - Causing Havoc or Necessary Change Agents? Does ministry to a new generation require a new theology? Should we be radically changing how and why we engage in ministry to young people, or are we falling victim to our culture’s obsession with youthfulness.
You can purchase tickets for both events at this site.
