Australia’s first ever Muslim Film Festival awaits you with three full days of independent short films made by Muslims and/or telling stories about Muslims anywhere in the world.
Our first annual event of MFF will screen around 35 short films within the Official Competition on 7 and 8 September, and two feature films within our Closing Ceremony on 9 September.
Our super-cosy venues, the Backlot Theatre, located in the heart of Perth city, WA, is a popular host of independent film festivals.
