About

This concert brings together early-career historical performance musicians from around Australia to perform a program that weaves together music from Jean-Fery Rebel's "Les Elemens" and Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre's opera "Cephale et Procris". The resulting musical narrative allows the musicians and audience to soak in centuries-old artistic expressions with enduring relevance.

The music will be performed on baroque instruments by a 12-piece ensemble, joined by soprano Karen Fitz-Gibbon.
