Summer6s is back for another great year at Hawthorn Hockey Club.
All games are on pitches H-1 and H-2 at the Hawthorn-Malvern Hockey Centre.
We'll run for 7 games on Friday nights starting 10 October 2025.
Games are Oct 10 - Nov 28 (except Oct 31)
HHC uniform from winter can be worn. Otherwise, players can wear a red top, blue shorts and blue socks.
The BBQ will be running each evening and drinks can be purchased from the HMHC bar.
No training, indeed no experience required - a great way to start hockey, to hone skills or just have fun as the summer days get longer.
Summer6s for the U8's, U10’s, U12’s, U14’s & U16's are played against teams from the other Central Metro Flames clubs.
Game times are expected to be:

U10 & U8 Summer6s 5:30, finish 6:15pm

U12 Summer6s 6:20, finish 7:05pm

U14 Summer6s 7:10, finish 7:55pm

U16 Summer6s, 8:00, finish 8:45pm

U18 - subject to team entries
For the purposes of determining age-based player eligibility the following shall apply for the 2025 HV winter competition:
| Under 10 | Born on or after 1 January 2015 |
| Under 12 | Born on or after 1 January 2013 |
| Under 14 | Born on or after 1 January 2011 |
| Under 16 | Born on or after 1 January 2009 |
| Under 18 | Born on or after 1 January 2007 |
