COST: $40 for a block of six consecutive weeks
Students will require access to the internet.
Parents can join the session as KIOSC Teachers engage with students on-line. Students will be able to see the teachers and interact with them. It is up to you, if you want your child to have their camera on. The platform for online delivery is still being finalised, but it will be a secure, password protected environment for your child to be in. Instructions will be sent outlining how your child can access the program on-line.
3D Print Design
Tuesday 12, 19 and 26 May
Students will learn how to design in a 3D printing world. They will use a free online program that has a KIOSC classroom. This classroom allows for a closed secure environment. Students will go online with their KIOSC teacher and product a 3D artefact, that will later be printed at KIOSC that they will get to keep.
Tuesday 2, 9 and 16 June
Students will investigate scientific principles of physics. Students will get away from their screens and using simple equipment found around the house, use scientific method to investigate a range of principles. From crumple zones to flight, students will be able to create, explore and evaluate the laws of physics.
