In this workshop the participants will be introduced to the concept of natural colourants obtained from food waste and organic ingredients such as onion skins, different teas and turmeric. The children will be shown the basic technique of heating the dyes, then we will pattern the soy milk treated cotton cloth by using some tie dye and shibori principles and dyeing them.
