2018 AMMNA Australian Championship Umpire Nomination

The Australian Mens’ and Mixed Netball Association Inc (AMMNA) calls for nominations from nationally badged Umpires to become a member of the National Pool of Umpires.

Umpires receive an excellent opportunity to umpire at the elite level and also receive high performance coaching.

Tournament:

Sunday 1st April 2018 to Saturday 7th April 2018

By nominating, you are indicating that:

You can afford the expenses relating to your selection.
You can arrange the time off from your employment/study.
Withdrawal at anytime, other than due to injury, will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

If selected to the National Pool, Umpires are expected to attend their respective State’s training sessions and assist with pre-championship preparations as requested by the respective State body. This also acts as excellent preparation for umpiring the elite competition.

AMMNA relies upon the generosity of its volunteers. Each year, costs for accommodation, ground transport, catering for the week, will be quoted and according to location to the venue, pricing and quality. AMMNA does have the capacity to heavily subsidize each participating umpire who becomes a member of the National Pool:

High performance coaching
Opportunity for selection in Australian Touring Party to umpire international fixtures:
- Australian Junior squads will travel to New Zealand in 2018 to participate in the New Zealand Men's National Championships.
- Other international invitations pending acceptance
