A message from the Director
'The ACBTR is a research centre that promotes innovative, cutting-edge multidisciplinary research on the Bible, in a variety of interests in ancient and contemporary contexts.
The ACBTR provides focal points for major individual and collaborative research projects. It organises seminars, conferences, workshops, drop-in faculty chat sessions, and round-table discussions. While developing an international network of scholars, it also co-ordinates funding strategies and promotes research within and beyond academia.
The ACBTR is an international and inclusive research hub, home to a vibrant and global community where research focuses on the texts and traditions of the Bible in conversation with other disciplines and from multiple perspectives.' (Professor Stefano Salemi)
