The Australian Forklift and Industrial Truck Association (AFITA) is the peak industry body representing the interests of the manufacturers of forklift trucks and ancillary equipment in Australia. AFITA is involved in the development and monitoring of international and Australian Standards governing the safety and operational features required in forklift trucks and for their safe operation.

FLT Safety Seminar - Forklift Capacity Plates

Tuesday 8 December 2020
Australian Standard compliant forklifts are required to have capacity plates placed in a position where they can be seen from the operator’s position. They show the maximum load limits for a forklift under various configurations of mast tilt and load heights and in combination with attachments.
