will come and present an introduction to Masterson Method®
and teach participants a simple technique you can use on any
horse or pony to release tension, build trust and improve your horsemanship.
Come and join in for this 11⁄2 hour introduction to Masterson Method®
I will discuss the benefits of Bodywork, how it works, and teach you
a simple technique using light touch to begin releasing tension in horses.
This presentation is open to anyone who has completed Archery Ascension

In this Intensive you will cover our levels of Horsemanship training and develop the understanding needed to begin your horsemanship journey.
This course will also serve as a great refresher for current beginner horsemanship students.

Our training system aims for you to train a horse that is connected, relaxed and responsive in a partnership that feels and looks safe. You can take these skills into your everyday relationships and activities.

- SUHBA: building connection with your horse
- TARBIYYA: building and shaping their behaviour and mindset to perform at their best

Join us for the Inaugural Australian Menzil Flight Shooting Archery Event on Saturday the 26th of Nov at the Castlemaine airstrip, Central Victoria.

For those who wish to stay the night, we welcome you to join us to do an informal 10-station archery roving course set up by Lawrie in the Upper Loddon State Forest near Mount Franklin.
Numbers for this event is capped at 25.
The idea for the event came from Lawrie Conole (Instagram: @Flatcap_Archery) in Castlemaine.
Lawrie is a TAA member, but not aligned with any particular club. He has friendly connections
though with TAA clubs such as Archery Ascension, Golden Triangle Archers (Dunolly) and Maydaan Archery.

On Sunday the 18th of September we will be blessed with Ustadh Ahmed Karat visiting us from Maydaan Archery Club in NSW.
Ustadh Ahmed Karat is the pioneering force behind Ottoman Archery in Australia and this intensive class will be one not to be missed.
Join us for an introduction to the way of the bow with Ustadh Ahmed Karat for an intensive morning.
This course will be suitable for anyone - and particularly beginners. Completing this course will be equivalent to completing two modules of our Foundation program

This horsemanship course aims for you to train a horse that is connected, relaxed and responsive in a partnership that feels and looks safe. These skills also form an integral part of everyday relationships and activities.

Holiday Children's Program

Archery Ascension is offering an Ascension Sports Holiday program. Students will be allocated in groups based on age and maturity.
Suitable for Children aged 6 to 12 years old
The purpose of this program is to connect the children to the Sunnah Arts of Archery and Horsemanship as well as gain an appreciation of the outdoors
Due to COVID restrictions, all parents that are on site must be fully vaccinated

The Training is for Archery Ascension Members who have completed the Beginners Introductory Course. You will be able to practice and refine your skills under the supervision of an Archery Ascension Mentor

Participants must also bring their own equipment.

This is a Members only event. Members must have completed the Beginners Introductory Course to participate.
The free shooting times are designed for you to practice and refine your skills individually. If you would like an Archery Ascension Mentor to be present please book the 'Intermediate Archery Training'
Due to Government Regulations, only participants that are fully vaccinated can attend this event. You must also bring your own equipment.
