With everything a Diminutive Diva should be: saucy, funny and lovable - you will be guaranteed a magical night of music, laughter and love!

In this informative workshop, you do not need to know anything about wine or how to make champagne- as you will get an interesting introduction to the Champagne winemaking process and the region.

A 45 min talk about the Champagne region and its process of elaboration.

Auburn Frenchfest:Le Grande Ensemble/Le Carnaval des Animaux

Le Grande Ensemble is a collective of local musicians from the Clare Valley and surrounds, comprising of music teachers, students and other very talented people. The recital is coordinated by local music teacher, Auburn resident and French Fest committee member, Leonie Moore, who studied clarinet at Elder Conservatorium.The group was formed to play in the inaugural Auburn French Fest, creating a recital of solo and chamber music written by French composers, spanning 400 years of French history.
Le Grande Ensemble returns this year to play some of their favourite works from 2021, plus excerpts from Le Carnaval des Animaux by Saint-Saens, accompanied by artworks from students from Horizon Christian School at Balaklava.

Pick up your cheese hamper, at your leisure from a designated pick up spot (between 10am-2pm on Saturday or Sunday), and wander the village of Auburn and find a pretty picnic spot or enjoy the Wine and Cheese Marquee in the Park, indulging in tasting wines, while enjoying your French cheeses and condiments. Each hamper will feed 2 people. Enjoy either Saturday or Sunday, or on both days!

Lisette will share stories of love and life in France told through an eclectic collection of French songs and jazz instrumentals. Lisette, aka Cat Lawrence, is a seasoned vocalist and dancer, with career highlights including the role of Liz in Chicago in London's west end. She will be joined by Michael Baldwin and John Denlay on guitars and Paul Jankovic on bass, who combined have decades of performance experience in jazz, funk and French pop bands.

When you step onto the red carpet to enter the world Premiere of Dream at the Auburn Institute you will feel it transform into Paris’ spectacular world-famous Moulin Rouge. You will step inside the heart of the unique Danielle and live her struggle, courage, and persistence to perform on the greatest stage on earth. You will meet Jerry who helps Danielle channel her inner strength and natural talent to achieve her dream. Australia’s own stunning Bellarouge dancers will have you not knowing which way to turn, igniting the boundless creativity and choreography of Carmel Margaritis. The music score merges Dream KAJAH’s original compositions and other songs that will stimulate your thoughts and energise your senses. Radio Adelaide’s own flamboyant Virginie Forest (Frenchie) will narrate the story.

Singer Lou Blackwell brings together some of Adelaide’s finest jazz musicians including Mark Simeon Ferguson on keys, Julian Ferraretto on violin and John Aué on double bass to perform songs from the great ‘variété française’ French popular song tradition. The Auburn Frenchfest is thrilled to welcome Adelaide’s only French language theatre group, Panache, formed in 2014. It does not matter if you cannot speak French, their shows have English subtitles, so that all can enjoy. Panache returns to Auburn Frenchfest and will present two performances of Moliere: 401 Today. This theatrical performance will bring to life comic scenes from France's best known playwright Moliere! Scenes from L’Avare (TheMiser), Le Bourgeois gentilhomme (The would-be Nobleman), Tartuffe, Le Médecin malgré lui (Doctor Willy-Nilly), Les Fourberies de Scapin (Scapin the Scoundrel) and Le Malade imaginaire (The

La Chanson was originally mounted for the 2014 Cabaret Fringe at the Alliance Francaise and sold out. It was subsequently commissioned by the Mayor of Unley for Harmony Day celebrations. The show is a 75-minute ride through 100 years of recent French culture, featuring 12 songs that in various ways capture the particular ethos of their time. It’s supplemented by projected images and song subtitles.

Clay Artist Vivienne Churchette welcomes you to her music instrument making workshop. A fun time where you can design your own music shaker out of clay.
All materials will be supplied and you will be shown the finer ways of working clay into your own masterpiece.
Your piece will be fired in a kiln and then Vivienne will personally arrange collection or delivery of your instrument with you on the day of the workshop.
Come along and meet with other creative people who look forward to learning, laughing and setting their innovative talents and imagination free.
