FUNDAMENTALS
This clinic is targeted at younger hockey players and those new to the game. Core skills will include grip/stance, push passing, trapping/receiving, dribbling and tackling. It's important to get the fundamentals right before moving on to more advanced skill development.
PROGRESSION
This clinic is targeted at players who have already participated in our skills clinics or who have been playing hockey for a few years. More advanced skills will be introduced including leading and positioning, reverse stick, V drag, 3D skills, deception and jab/poke tackles.

The Bayside Hockey Club skills clinics are designed to help players of all abilities to:
- gain an understanding of their current skill level,
- refine their hockey fundamentals,
- learn new skills
- improve their ability ahead of the 2023 Winter season.
Run by Club Head Coach Lou Ciriello the skills development program offers 1 hour sessions on the 8th, 15th, 22nd Feb and 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th Mar.
From 5pm-6pm.
Spots are limited due to the nature of the training so please book ASAP if you would like to secure a place.
Cost is $225 and includes all sessions.

Come along and celebrate an amazing year of Junior hockey. There will be prizes and awards for each team and age group.
Tickets are $25 for junior players which includes pancakes topped with either banana, strawberries, sprinkles, fudge and vanilla ice cream; your choice of drink (flavoured milk or juice) and a $10 voucher to use next time you come to the Pancake Parlour.
Adults please RSVP so we know numbers but you're free to order whatever you would like for breakfast on the day.
Children must be accompanied by an adult for this event.

Ciriello Coaching Academy July Holiday Hockey Clinics

CCA is running U10 - U18 Coaching Development Skills Clinics at Bayside Hockey Club on 6th, 7th, 8th July 2022. The 3 hour sessions are designed to cover simple and specialist skills in a hockey game. The clinic challenges the way your child thinks and provides them with different solutions for different situations. The sessions are designed around a progression of developing closed skills and then taking these skills into playing games. Refreshments provided. Goalkeepers as well.

Stand Out Cup

The Stand Out Cup (SOC) is an annual pre-season social event designed to celebrate diversity and inclusivity in hockey and make a stand against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia in our sport.
All teams will play a minimum of 3 matches plus a final. All matches are 6 a side and will be played on modified Hockey Sixers pitches. The tournament is a all-gendered event and open to participants aged 14+
You must register via trybooking to participate. Be quick as limited spots available.

Ciriello's Coaching Academy is conducting specialist Running Clinics in February. Delivered by an international running coach the 2 hour group session will focus on improving speed and teach players how to run for the game of hockey.
Bring a book/pen to take notes.

All U14/U16 girls & boys welcome to try out for Bayside Pennant/Shield teams.
Players will be assessed by independent coaches.
All players to wear white/black t-shirt; navy/black shorts and long socks (pref dark but not club/team socks). NO team, club, zone or state uniforms are to be worn. Bring hockey stick; mouthguard; shin guards and water bottle.
To ensure there are no distractions - this is a closed tryout and parents are respectfully asked to drop off and pick up.
