Back by demand! Our popular wildflower tours will happen again for 2026. Jump on a bus with local experts and take a trip to see various places of interest. If it's a good season, you will be shown a beautiful display of everlastings and directed to the rare (and tricky to spot) orchids. If the season doesn't sum up to be that great, you'll still be shown the many other beauties that Beacon has to offer. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos and take in the fresh country air. You'll also get to try some of our local produce and relax over a campfire lunch with billy tea. Don't forget to bring warm and comfortable clothes, closed in shoes, hat and water bottle. Not only do we provide you with lunch, but you'll get delicious home made treats for morning tea. Please make sure you tell us your dietary requirements by selecting it at the time of booking. Meeting point : 9am at Beacon Central CRC for 9:30am departure, the bus will return to the CRC by 3pm.

Royal Wialki Golf Club Open Day on Friday 14th August, rolling start from 9:30am. 3 Man Ambrose, $50 nomination fee, lunch and dinner provided.

This year is Beacon's turn to host NEWROC's Literary Lunch! We have Annie de Monchaux, author of Audrey's Gone AWOL, coming to present this fabulous afternoon. Annie is a writer based in West Australia. Her non-fiction Cray Tales was shortlisted for the WA Premier's Literary Award and became the basis of a documentary. After qualifying as a nurse Annie abandoned that option to work in Hollywood - rewriting scripts - Superman II, III among others. She's renovated a restaurant in France, painted murals on three continents, interviewed nannies for the Royal Midwife in London, made TV adverts in Australia, the motherhood. In 2023 Annie was signed by Sarah McKenzie Literary Management and secured a two-book deal with Ultimo Press. Audrey's Gone AWOL was published in April 2024, and her second novel is to be released in 2026. Doors open at 10:30 with presentation starting at 11 followed by lunch at 12. Ticket price includes presentation and a 3 course meal at Beacon Country Club. There is a bar available at the club for drink purchases.
