Mark Kruger is a laureate of the Orleans International Piano Competition and his performances have been acclaimed around the world. His Spanish debut was hailed by El Pais as “brilliant both technically and musically… it was the revelation of a great artist.”
Mark's is delighted to share some of his favourite pieces - some that he has played for years, and some prepared especially for this performance.

Morning Melodies - Linda Gilbert

There are music conservatories...and then there is the Moscow State Conservatoire. Linda Gilbert has lived in Moscow for the last 16 years honing her craft in one of the world's most rigorous music schools. She is now completing her Master of Performance in Vladivostok.
Originally from Taree, NSW, Linda will present a program of gypsy romance featuring some of the most virtuosic music every written for the violin.

Morning Melodies - William Murray, viola

Born in Northcote, WIlliam Murray recently returned to Australia after 17 years based in Berlin and Amsterdam. He is one of a new generation of Australian musicians playing in a wide array of musical forms throughout the world.
William oozes enthusiam for the music he plays and his instrument - a glorious composite viola made by Antonio and Hieronymous Amati of Cremona in 1620.
We aren't yet sure if he is bringing the horse...
