At a roadhouse in the Coorong he meets a young woman named Gabrielle. Their connection is instant and powerful. The young lovers' story unfolds amidst four generations of interconnected stories— from the claustrophobia of a small 1950s London flat to the windswept coast of South Australia and into the heart of the Australian desert. Arrivals and Departures

Between Friday 25 July 2025 and Sunday 3 August 2025
Blue Sky Theatre presents Arrivals and Departures by Alan Ayckbourn. A poignant comedy of a cheery traffic warden who’s been drawn into a ludicrous anti-terrorist operation and the taciturn soldier whose mission is to babysit him. It’s frosty and judgemental at first. But as they get to know each other, they also reveal who they’ve become via memories recreated by an ensemble cast. Will Barry and Ez arrive at any common ground before they depart? Starring Emily Currie and Nick Fagan. Directed by Dave Simms By arrangement with ORiGiN™ Theatrical on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. - A Concord Theatricals Company
