Mini ink botanica with copper wire embroidery + brooch (CANCELLED)

This little one day class is a dive into art with touch of craft. We will relax into painting a botanical motif using inks and charcoal, on canvas . Whilst our mini masterpiece is drying we get to play and try our hands at a Copper Wire Brooch. This is a great way to get the feel and acquaintance with wiring techniques.
To finish off the day we embroider a little with selections of embroidery thread and copper wire.
If you like to see fast results and love arting and crafting, this one day workshop is just a bit of fun. Best part is you come away with 2 completed products for yourself or as a gift.

'Paint a piece' with Me (CANCELLED)

This one day class is a relaxing intro to painting a pottery piece. We combine the talented skills of 'Myf, from Grounded By Design' using her artisan, handcrafted pottery pieces and the art direction, painting techniques created by mwah!
Choosing from a selection of pieces available in stock, i.e. cups, plates, tags. We firstly plan out our botanical design. Then using a negative space concept we will paint an abstracted background, followed by our botanica and finally adding the magic details. Whilst our mini masterpiece is drying, in between stages, we get to enjoy the Moa space, where the sustenance of morning tea and lunch options area available to purchase.
All materials are provided, including your piece, paints, brushes, tools, clear glaze and firing.
Your piece will be available for collection after glazing and firing in 1-2 weeks.
