Are you joining BSC for Year 7 in 2024? We are excited to offer you the chance to come and visit us for one of our additional transition sessions! Each session will begin with general information and a walk around the school to help you become more familiar with our setting, followed by a fun activity from a different learning area each week! Tuesday November 14: Sport and Fitness Tuesday November 21: Food Technology Tuesday November 28: STEM Tuesday December 5: Art Places are limited for each session, so make sure you get in quickly to secure your place! You can come to one session, or as many as all four if you like! Drop off and pick up at the front office. Parents and carers - if you would like to meet with a member of the Junior School team during a transition sessions, please call us on 8720 7555 to book a time. Appointments on these days are limited to 30 min during the additional transition sessions. Longer appointments can be arranged for a later date.

Empowered Educators, Empowered Learners: Unleashing the Potential of Innovative Teaching Strategies This professional development series offers a comprehensive overview of diverse workshops aimed at empowering educators and enhancing student learning. Participants will delve into innovative teaching methodologies in mathematics, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create engaged and intellectually curious classrooms. These workshops equip teachers with a toolkit of practical strategies, fostering a positive impact on student learning and creating dynamic learning environments for lifelong success.

Join us for an educational evening raising awareness of the importance of being safe on the roads. Statistics show that drivers in the first year of their Red P Plates are significantly more likely to be involved in a motor vehicle collision than any other category of driver on the road, with drivers between the ages of 18 and 25 overrepresented in fatality statistics when compared to other age groups. Our Road Safety Awareness Evening aims to educate young drivers on the risks and consequences of driving unsafely on the road, and to raise awareness about the importance of road safety, so that we can do our bit to keep ourselves, our peers and the rest of community safe on the road. This evening has been organised by our amazing VCE-VM Year 12 students, Alex D, Alex L, Brodie, Jamie, Kobe and Kodi Date: Tuesday September 5th Time: 5.15pm for a 5.30pm start.
