City of Charles Sturt - Community Centres

The City of Charles Sturt Community Centres are hubs of activity providing workshops, events, school holiday programs, community gardens and other initiatives that meet the needs of the local community.

    There is a 'DaVinci' submersible (to knee deep) wheelchair available for hire, to be collected from Henley Surf Lifesaving Club, located on the southern side, external to the building. A MLAK key is required to open the storage room. If you don't have one, they can be borrowed at Henley Beach Library or Civic Library during opening hours, or we recommend you purchase one for individual use. Keys can be picked up up to 2 days prior to the booking, but must be returned within a day of booking.

    There are two floating 'Mobi-chair' wheelchairs available for hire. They are stored at the Henley Surf lifesaving Club – storage area located on the Southern side, external to the building. A MLAK key is required to open the storage room. They can be borrowed at the Henley Beach Library and the Civic Library during opening hours, or we recommend you purchase one for individual use.     Bring your friends and enjoy a social night. Entertainment featuring Vocalist Jay Mancuso with songs that you will know & tap your feet with Di's Dapper Tappers & Dancers. There is room for dancing, have fun!
