The City of Charles Sturt Community Centres are hubs of activity providing workshops, events, school holiday programs, community gardens and other initiatives that meet the needs of the local community.

    Grubbies on Green is a Wednesday morning Nature Playgroup at 19 on Green. Kids get grubby in the garden, rustle up snacks in the kitchen, and do fun art and craft activities based around the creatures and plants that call the garden home.     Join our creative facilitator Linda, for a fun and interactive workshop learning how to design and mosaic your own plant pot. Wear old clothes as this can be a messy process! All materials are provided. We will break for lunch during the workshop. Our community cafe will be open serving delicious home cooked food for those interested.

    Women Who Woodwork is a series of practical workshops for women interested in learning how to use power tools and build things. Over six weekly sessions you will complete a project from design to finish, learn how to use power tools safely, build confidence and competence in your skills and abilities and connect with a community of women with a shared interest in woodwork. Workshops start on Wednesday, 18 August from 12:30pm - 3:00pm and continues for six weeks until 22 September.
