Grubbies on Green is a Wednesday morning Nature Playgroup at 19 on Green. Kids get grubby in the garden, rustle up snacks in the kitchen, and do fun art and craft activities based around the creatures and plants that call the garden home. There is also related story time, songs and dancing.

Join local artist Mignon Clift for a fun short course in painting with Acrylics, suitable for beginners or the more experienced. We will focus on enjoying the process as we explore materials, choosing a subject, planning the painting and basic techniques, with plenty of tips and tricks along the way. Each session will include an introduction and demonstration and individual attention to develop skills so you are sure to enjoy the creative experience.

In My Blood It Runs follows the life of ten year old Arrernte / Garrwa boy Dujuan and his family. The film charts the challenges Dujuan, a child healer, good hunter and speaker of three languages, faces as he meets the overt and concealed prejudices still perpetuated against Aboriginal people in Australia today: in school, at home and on the streets in Alice Springs. Dungeons & Dragons is a tabletop fanstasy role playing game. It is lots of fun but can be an intimidating game for the newcomer. Learn all you need to know with this beginner's session to Dungeons & Dragons.

Join Pottering Around at Bower Cottages Community Centre for a fun interactive story telling and pottery session! Children will hear the story of 'Father Christmas Needs a Wee' before creating their own Christmas decorations using air dry clay. They will get to paint and decorate them before taking them home to decorate your home or give to a family member for Christmas.
Suitable for children 4 to 8 years.

Come and hear the story of the Snail who longs to see the world, and his adventure on the tail of a whale, past icebergs, volcanoes, sharks and penguins. Paint your own adventurous snail or his friend the whale. Your painted creations will be glazed following the workshop and can be collected from new local business Pottering Around the week following the activity.
Suitable for children aged 4yrs-8yrs.
$6 per participant.
Parents must remain onsite throughout the session.

Try your hand at Dungeons & Dragons in our free School Holidays session at The Brocas Community Centre. This group is aimed at young people 12 to 18 years of age.
Dungeons & Dragons (also known as D&D) involves a group of players exploring a fantasy world and building a story as they play. It's like a board game, but without the board. You get to build the character and decide what it does, while sharing some laughs with other players.
All game equipment is provided.

This school holidays the Henley & Grange Community Centre is partnering up with our friends at the Marine Discovery Centre to put on a special school holiday program that promises to be lots of fun!
Your kids will become science investigators and explore the beach and access a variety of interactive discovery stations. This is an inspirational experience not to be missed. Session aimed at 5-12 yr olds but younger siblings welcome. Parents must stay with children but coffee is available!
