ON STAGE DATING

In turns hilarious, awkward and risqué, performance artist/comedienne Bronwen Batten goes on a 'First date' with audience volunteers - taking the idea of exciting, interactive dating experiments to a new level. Using American Psychologist Arthur Aron's famous 36 Questions, Bronwen and her 'date' complete a series of rituals, (Wine and cheese, playing Twister and so on) with either uproarious results - or a crash and burn outcome! No two performances the same.

Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris

Directed by Geraldine Turner, Miranda Music Society's wonderful 2016 production of Jacque Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris comes to Mittagong Playhouse after a short season at Riverside Studio, Parramatta. Brel’s fever-grade ballads about love’s vagaries have been widely covered by artists from Judy Collins and Frank Sinatra to David Bowie. And then there's the unforgettable 'Ne me Quitte pas' ... it's a real tear-jerker.
