Roma's Easter in the Country Festival is a five-day celebration of all things, country. It quite deliberately encapsulates the unforgiving outback and the quintessential Queensland country lifestyle. The event gives an opportunity for the residents of Roma to invite their relatives and friends as well as 'first timers' to spend a long weekend in the country to enjoy the atmosphere and friendliness that Roma and the Maranoa has in 'spades'.

Due to the demand for camping the Easter in the Country Committee has established a new camping precinct. Limited powered site (60 available0 and unlimited unpowered site. The grounds are serviced with showers and toilet facilities. The area is quiet and there is plenty of space. Fire pits are welcome and should be supervised
