Watercolour Workshop - Understanding Granulation

If you like to take your watercolour painting to a fresh, contemporary direction and explore creating magical watercolours with spectacular dimension and character then this workshop is for you.
Learn how to use various tools and techniques to add variety of effects and marks, discover creative brush techniques and produce bold, free, loose wet into wet watercolours.
The session will run from 10am to 4pm. Tea and biscuits are provided, but please bring your own lunch.

It is a condition of our participation in the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show that we have someone monitoring our paintings at all times. We therefore need at least 1 volunteer for each time slot.
You will receive free entry for yourself on the day you are rostered on.

This is a life drawing event in which the model will hold the same pose for two three-hour sessions, from 10.00am - 1.00pm on Monday January 15th and Friday January 19th.
The participants will be restricted to 8.

Life Drawing Workshop with Maxine Wade
Sunday 14 January 2024
A 4 hour workshop, with a female model for the first 2 hours, followed by a short lunch break.
The remaining time will be spent developing one or two drawings from the model session, using a variety of media (your choice!) Maxine will tutor you through the model session, with a series of short to longer poses. She will then demonstrate and explain some possible developments for your drawings.
Some life drawing experience is necessary.
The session will run from 11am to 3pm. Tea and biscuits are provided, but please bring your own lunch.
