Byramine Haunted Homestead Paranormal Investigation

A 2.5 hour paranormal investigation at the Byramine Homestead and Brewery. Join Kyneton Paranormal as we exlore this National Trust historic house where spirits still call it their home. The homestead was built in 1842 by the famous explorer Hamilton Hume for his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hume and her nine children after her husband was murdered by Bushrangers, in Gunning NSW. Hamilton Hume made an appearance last time we were there as did the maid, the cook who warned us of a candle too close to the curtains, kids in the cellar, the Governess with spirits from other families that used to live there. The Homestead was classified by the National Trust because of its unique design, featuring octagonal rooms. The central room, known as the fortress room allowed a clear view from all angles in case of attack from bushrangers or natives. We use paranormal ghost hunting equipment to connect with group seances. Ticket includes bottle of Byramine Shiraz to take home.

Explore a Gothic-style mansion built in 1877, originally intended to house the first bishop of Ballarat, Bishop Michael O'Connor, for the Diocese of Ballarat. This mansion was home to six bishops until 1996 when it was taken over by private ownership. It is said that three bishops, along with several other spirits, still linger in the building.
During this tour, equipped with paranormal ghost-hunting equipment, you will learn how to connect with spirits, use the equipment, and participate in experiments. You will also have the opportunity to explore this grand and spooky building in a small group of approximately 10 people for up to three hours, supervised by an experienced paranormal investigator.
Please note that this experience is for participants aged 18 and over and involves navigating stairs. As this is an old building, there is no wheelchair or disability access, and we will be walking in the dark, going up and down unlit stairways.

Set up more like a dorm for kids, we are not going for comfort, however you will be able to book single tickets or bunk together with various room configurations. Well not exactly abandoned, more de-registered and now used as a workspace for many businesses in the Castlemaine area. However this 1930's hospital was used until around 2000 when it was decomissioned. The long hallways with surgery rooms/patient rooms are still off the side and there are 3 levels to explore. We don't have access to all the rooms but access to entrance, hallways, cellar and various rooms. We do know there are residual and intelligent spirits there. So far we have discovered a nurse, anasthesist, ordely, patient and kitchen worker. They have moved doors and make knocking sounds for us. You will have paranormal equipment to use Small group so we can hear the creaks and groans! And there are a lot of noises! This site is highly active. All you have to do is sit quietly and listen! Odessa at Leavers Hotel in Creswick is the oldest hotel in Creswick and is now a cabaret venue. It's spirits from various times of it being a brothel, a bank and a takeaway shop hang around mostly because of the music. But they can be scary..Owner Chantel has had people run screaming out of their room at 3am when attempting to sleep their the night. (The hotel also operates as a bnb). We reckon it's just the spirit kids having fun. Anyway come investigate this gorgeous venue with the help of mediums to help us connect with the venue spirits for $60 or stay overnight in one of the 3 "haunted" rooms from $220 for 2 pax.

Francis Xavier's boarding college was run by the Sisters of Mercy from 1903 through to 1986. The Federation Gothic style convent is now a bnb used by every stylish bride in Victoria. However the nuns, by all accounts from the owners, are still in charge! Dinner first with a choice of 3 yummy curries. Then we will equip you with ghost hunting equipment to explore these amazing buildings on a 2 hour investigation.
We've added a few packages to make your paranormal experience one to remember with the option of staying over in the haunted hotel at the back of Odessa. There are 3 rooms to choose from. The first is a king size bedroom (2 adults), the second room consists of king size bunks (4 adults) both these room share a bathroom with underfloor heating, deep soak bath & rainwater shower head. The third room is up the creepy stairs (hold on tight to the banister) and consists of a large king size bed, ensuite and a free standing claw foot bath. We will leave you some instruments to explore and wake up with coffee and croissant.
