Join us for Black Light Nights, a limited season of tours in September, to see Glenrock State Conservation Area in a whole new light.
In this small-group night tour, you will be provided specialist UV equipment to search for glowing scorpions, spiders, lichen and more. Your guide, Karen, will provide safety information, the science behind fluorescence, and a whole lot of fun.
For safety reasons, children must be aged 8+ to participate and will share UV equipment with their supervising adult. All participants must wear long pants, long sleeves and closed shoes.
You don't need to have kids to join, but there are dedicated adults-only tours each Friday night too.
Note that this tour will NOT include bioluminescent mushrooms, which bloom in May/June.
Please read the terms and conditions for a tour carefully as purchase of a ticket acknowledges these, and emailed questions are usually covered.
