Join us for an unforgettable evening of Carnatic music in support of John Hunter Children’s Hospital Cancer Research!
Veenamirdam - A traditional Indian music concert featuring Ramana Balachandhran on the Veena — one of India’s most celebrated young classical musicians — and Dr Patri Satish Kumar on the Mridangam, an inimitable virtuoso of South Indian percussion.
The duo will perform compositions and improvisation from the Carnatic tradition - both a virtuosic and soulful showcase of melody, rhythm and a deep dialogue between artists.

The world-famous Willy Wonka is opening the gates to his mysterious factory…but only to a lucky few. Young Charlie Bucket and four other golden ticket winners will embark on a life-changing journey through Wonka’s world of pure imagination, including chocolate waterfalls, nutty squirrels and the great glass elevator, all revealed by Wonka’s army of curious Oompa-Loompas.
