The Year 10 River Cruise will be held on Thursday, 12 March. This event is always a highlight for students, offering a memorable opportunity to socialise while enjoying a relaxing evening on the Swan River. As this is a College event, all standard school rules apply. Students are expected to demonstrate behaviour that reflects the College’s values and maintain a high standard of conduct throughout the evening. We kindly request that no pre- or post-cruise gatherings be organised, as these activities can detract from the focus of the night—enjoying the River Cruise experience. Please note that mobile phones are not permitted during the event. A photo booth will be available on board for students to capture special moments.

Inspire presents The Fathering Project Breakfast Join the John XXIII community for an inspiring presentation by Ashlee Harrison from zero2hero. This special breakfast will focus on connection, resilience and wellbeing within our College community. Find out what kids are saying that they often don’t say to their parents! The morning will begin with stand-up, cocktail-style networking over bacon-and egg rolls and barista coffee, to be followed by a 45-minute sit-down presentation. Our guest speaker Ashlee Harrison is the founder of zero2hero, a WA charity dedicated to preventing youth suicide by educating, engaging and empowering young people to support their own mental health and that of their peers.

Join us for an enchanting evening filled with music, colour, and a touch of Wonka magic, as Roald Dahl’s timeless story comes alive through vibrant performances, dazzling sets, and unforgettable songs.

As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a connected and welcoming school community, the John XXIII College Parents’ Association warmly invites all parents to join us for our Parent Sundowner — an informal, adults‑only evening on the College grounds, complete with live entertainment. This relaxed, picnic‑style gathering is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow parents, catch up with old friends, and celebrate the spirit of our College community. Format: Picnic‑style • BYO drinks • BYO picnic food or pre‑order catering by Ultimo when you purchase your ticket. (Food will not be available for purchase at the event.) What to bring: Picnic rug or low chairs • Your own drinks (BYO) • Cups (no glassware please) and any additional snacks you like.
