Come along and enjoy our 3 Day Sunflower Festival - ONE MILLION sunflowers this year for you to enjoy! Lots of great photo opportunities, 4 acre sunflower maze, sunflower themed workshops, cooking demonstrations, live music, River 94.9 broadcasting all weekend, free children's activities. Brasshound Distillery on site for Gin and Vodka tastings and sales. Lots of market stalls and food options. Free parking. We are again partnering with Qld Cancer Council and local NFP groups. You must purchase your general admission ticket first and then if you wish to browse the special additional activities you can purchase and book online. Please note due to local government restrictions the farm will only be open for these 3 days, NO admittance is allowed at any other time or day to the farm. Join Erin from Geeves Art and create your own acrylic Sunflower painting to take home. Canvases will be 20x30cm all materials and instructions are included

The team from Elite Helicopters are back again this year. If your bucket list has always included a helicopter joy flight, grab this amazing opportunity to take a 5 minute flight over the sunflower fields and surrounding farmland set amongst the amazing Scenic Rim skyline and ranges. Book your ticket after your entry time to the festival and make your way to the helicopter area and they will allocate you a time for your flight within that hour. Tickets $75

EDIBLE FLOWER Workshop – what to grow, how to grow and what you do with them $66.00 pp/40 min session Have you been to a café or restaurant and seen edible flowers on your dishes or in your cocktails? Have you noticed on your favourite social media platform beautiful cakes with fresh or pressed flowers on them and you wonder how you can learn about edible flowers so you can try this at home? Simone Jelley, owner of the nationally award winning Pretty Produce edible flower farm as been growing and selling edible flowers for over a decade to both Australians and also to a rapidly growing global market. She is a renowned and respected expert affectionally known as the “Edible Flower Queen” and we are so thrilled to be able to offer a workshop where Simone will show you the ropes and teach you all about edible flowers – from growing them at home, to how to create magic with them in your kitchen. Includes - seeds to grow at home and also a demonstration on how to dress a cake.

Join multi-award winning chef Richard Ousby in a field of a million sunflowers whilst enjoying a shared beautiful long table 2 course lunch made from local Scenic Rim produce. You will be entertained with live music by local legend Laura Frank and a welcome glass of champagne is included in your ticket price. Grab your friends and family and look forward to this special and unique dining experience. You will be undercover with our large white marquees. Sample menu available when tickets selected. Join multi-award winning chef Richard Ousby for a WOW afternoon shared dining event. Set amongst one million sunflowers, you will be treated to a three course early dinner featuring local produce from the Scenic Rim. The sunset soiree dinner includes a standing canape entree whilst enjoying a special guest performance and a sit down shared style main and dessert. The sunset soiree will include our own local legends Laura Frank and Nick Morrisey (Most Promising Future Star at the People’s Choice Awards 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival). The Kalbar Sunflower Farm overlooks the stunning mountain ranges. You will enjoy a special event watching the sun set over 1 million sunflowers. A bucketlist moment.
