This evening will provide parents and students with a clear overview of the tour experiences, learning objectives, logistics, costs and key dates. Tours on Offer for 2026: 1) Reef and Rainforest Experience (Open to Year 8 Students – Late Term 4) Students will explore the unique ecosystems of Far North Queensland, engaging directly with marine biology, environmental science, and cultural learning. Through hands on fieldwork and guided experiences, participants will deepen their understanding of sustainability and biodiversity in one of the world’s most remarkable natural environments. 2) Technology and Space Experience (Open to Year 9 & 10 Students – Final Week of Term 3) This tour immerses students in the forefront of innovation, engineering, and space science, based around the Australian Space Agency in Adelaide. This Friday, 27 February, there will be a Year 7 & 8 movie night held at Korowa, with students from Years 7 and 8 able to come together for a fun evening. The movie being screened is Ratatouille and the event is being held on Level 3 of the Cripps Building. The event will start at 4pm and students will be available to be collected at 6.15pm. Students are encouraged to bring casual clothes to get changed into after the school day finishes, that they can then relax in for the movie. Tickets for the movie are only $2 per student or there are also bundles available which include popcorn and a drink. There will be a range of snacks available that students can purchase at the event using cash or EFTPOS, including popcorn, soft drinks, lolly bags, packets of chips and ice cream. These snacks range in price from $1 to $4 each. The activity is being organised by the students of our senior STEM team, Riptide, who are preparing for an underwater robotics (ROV) competition, with all funds raised supporting their journey to the World Championship in Canada.

ROV Fundraiser (Senior School)

Year 9 & 10 students from Korowa's Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Team, Riptide, are competing at the World Championships in Canada in June. To assist with the costs of this trip, they are holding a Domino's lunch fundraiser on Friday 7 November. Students should PRE-ORDER their pizza using this form, which they will be able to collect at lunchtime from Cripps Level 1. Orders must be submitted no later than 9am Thursday 6 November, and are in sets of two slices. To provide enough notice to Domino's of our orders, no late orders will be accepted.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Australian Children’s Theatre Foundation (ACTF) via Regional Arts Victoria.
