At least, that’s how he sees it: “As an artist, I feel like I am constantly finding a new voice, a new story. I’m loving making music these days...I think I’m much better at it now than I ever was before.” The current album Living In Colour was named 2022 CMAA Album Of The Year as well as Alternative Country Album Of The Year, and spawned the single And You Will Have Your Way, which earned Nicholson both Single Of The Year and APRA Song Of The Year awards. Living In Colour was his seventh consecutive ARIA-nominated album. In addition to being one of the country’s most in-demand music producers, Nicholson has just completed an extensive national tour for the Living in Colour album, and is now set to bring a career-spanning all-new show into 2023. “One of the country’s finest songwriters” Rhythms Magazine

Travellin’ Still – the Songs of Slim Dusty

Friday 31 March 2023
Live in the Glen are excited to be hosting ..... Travellin’ Still – the Songs of Slim Dusty the Songs of Slim Dusty With Pete Denahy & the Travelling Country Band When Slim Dusty’s Travelling Country Band played their last full show with Slim in 2002, the band members all went their separate ways. Fast-forward to 2016 they found themselves on-stage together for the first time in years. And it felt like only yesterday as the old songs, friendships and memories came flooding back. One comment from an audience member, “This show has to go on the road! got them all thinking, why not? There aren’t many bands around where all the members were part of the Slim Dusty Show! So, with the approval of Joy and the Family, Rod Coe, Mike Kerin, Jeff Mercer and Peter Denahy have decided to take the show on the road..
